Me and lil man had a game of roll a pumpkin today. We had a dice but no paper to hand so we drew our pictures on the paint programe on my laptop.
Mine is on left made with shapes, lil man used the pencil to draw his.
We had good fun and must have had about 5 or 6 goes - the1 of the image we both drew what ever was rolled so no-1 won.
if you roll a 1 - you draw the body
if you roll a 2 - you draw the stalk
if you roll a 3 - you draw the leaf
if you roll a 4 - you draw the eyes
if you roll a 5 - you draw the nose
if you roll a 6 - you draw the mouth

October 26th 2015 - job charts
Following on from my post the other day about getting my son a gohenry card we have today sat and had a long talk about money and how he cant get it for nothing. And we have agreed that I will only add money to his card IF he does jobs to earn it.
There is an option to add extra money to the gohenry card for things like jobs etc but i'm not in a financial position to just give him money for nothing or on top of the money going on the card. So it seems fair.
My son agreed on the jobs he would do and he has to do each job at least 3times a week to get the money for his card. He wanted a minecraft job chart so we made one:
(this isn't all of it but a part pic).
However, the other 2 then decided that if their brother is getting money for jobs they also want the same - but only the middle has a gohenry card as the youngest is too young. We have said we will open him an account at the bank.
But we have had to make them job charts as well. Middle son wanted skylanders:
and the youngest wanted Thomas the Tank:
They all have some jobs the same but others are different, especially lil man who cant do things like hoovering the stairs or clearing the table that the older 2 can do, he has things like helping to load washing machine and tumble dryer.
Hopefully its going to work and they wont get bored like last time we had job sheets.

October 25th 2015 - Halloween Crafts
Today has mainly been spent doing Halloween Crafts.
Lil man came down with an empty toilet roll tube and asked what he could turn it into - well he decided to turn it into a witch.
He then asked if he could have some halloween pictures to paint and colour, which he did.

October 24th 2015 - London Underground
OMG the London Underground Maps are confusing! I'm not even in London but sat on my laptop trying to work out where I need to go, what tube stations I need and then there the cost of the trips - which is best oyster or day card or pay per tube???
I'm so glad I dont live or work in London it would seriously do my head in.
I have printed maps from train station to tubes to hotels, to places we are going and everything in between. I've also downloaded apps for my mobile linked to the underground!

October 23rd 2015 - Halloween day at school
As today is the last day of term the school allow the children to go dressed up in Halloween outfits and they have a day of fun as wel as some work.
This year my middle son (eldest of the 2 at the school) wanted to go as a Skeleton Pirate, and this is what we did for him:
This was very easy to sort as all 3 boys have pirate outfits and we had 2 skeletons outfits so it was just a case of mix and match of what fitted him best. He had to have a mask as he is allergic to face paints. Apart from fact skeleton legs bit short he looks really good.
My youngest son found a pair of monster feet in a charity shop and said that he was going to wear them and go as a monster for Halloween at school. Meet the feet:
The only problem we faced now was he had no monster outfit. "Not a problem you can make me one mummy" says son! Hahaha!
Well I hunted ebay and found a cute fluffy dog onesie that was similar colours to the feet, and thought I could alter it (see post). It altered really well and here is lil man dressed as a monster ready to go to school:
I think he looks really cool. I'm not sure the school are going to be happy as the monster feet make monster noises as he walks!!! lol.
Hope they both have a good day.

October 22nd 2015 - fold bedding
Folding bedding has to be 1 of the most annoying jobs around the house! The sheets never fold properly, the duvet never stays folded, pillow cases dissapear or fall through airing cupboard shelves etc.
A friend said to me that she puts each bedding set inside its pillowcase, this stops the problem of the above and having to hunt for bits when you change beds (especially if you have kids and its 3am after they've been sick, your trying to do it quietly and in the dark). This method means you can just grab a pack and off you go. They also sit neater on the shelves.
I have spent today doing this and re-folding all of my towels so they are in a neater pile as well. It doesn't help that my airing cupboard is really small and only has 2 shelves.

October 21st 2015 - Back to the Future Day
The time has come, October 21st 2015 - Back to the Future Day!
I loved watching the films when I was a kid and still think they are great today. There are many things from the film which have since been invented, whether the film gave the idea or not we dont no. I for 1 do not plan to try out the hoover boards!
Below is a pic from the film and my lil man in a chain link top and silver hat. He hasn't seen the films but thought he looked the man from film. Good job I have obliging kids.

October 20th 2015 - Harvest Festival
Today was the schools Harvest Festival. It was held at the local church. And for the first time of these events the whole of the school was there, usually they do it in 2 sessions and half the school at each and many parents had to go to both.
We saw our 2 sons as they came in to the church, but couldn't see where they were sat. All the kids sang really well, loud and clear.
The school asked for each child to take in a packet or tin of food and these were being donated to the local Salvation Army to issue out. With over 200 children in the school that is a lot of donations.
However, with today being the Harvest Festival it does mean there are now only 3days until the end of term.

October 19th 2015 - purse
I have a small purse that is pocket size and great. But I wanted another couple and was struggling to find them online at a sensible price.
So I took out the material box and some old clothes that were going to charity shops with zips in and set about making a new purse.
I have never stitched in zips to things before, so the first of the purses I cheated and used the material that was already around the zip in the trousers and cut and stitched to the size I was after. I over stitched the end of the zip and then coated it in superglue so that it should hold. (green in pic).
For the 2nd purse I half cheated as had a pocket that had been cut from an old pair of jeans, it still had the outer part of the jeans as well as the denim lining so all I had to do was attach the zip. It took 2 attempts to get it in right but it worked.
Now you may be wondering why I would want multiple purses if I already have a good/nice one. Well as i'm off to London in a couple of weeks I don't want to keep all my money in 1 purse together incase it gets stolen. At least if I have a couple of purses I can split my money and where they are on my person = less likely to loose all of it.

October 18th 2015 - Go henry
My son is off to Buckingham Palace in a couple of weeks and needs to take 2 pieces of id with him or he wont be allowed in. Well this was looking to be a big problem for us as, 1 piece of id will be his St John Ambulance id badge but as for number 2 we had no idea. His birth cert is not in his changed name by deed poll, i'm not sure if deed poll would be accepted, he has no passport and isn't old enough for a driving licence, he doesnt work and therefore has no payslips or national insurance card, his phone is on my contract so not in his name and he doesn't have a bank acocunt. As you can see we were fast running out of options.
Anyway me and my friend were talking and she said that she had just got her 13yr old son a pre-pay credit card type thing from a company called Osper. I took a look at it and didn't like that you were tied in for 1year. Seems a long time that I have to pay money onto a card for my son to spend on most probably sweets! I started looking around and found another company that does similar called go henry. This company does not tie you in for a year and you can cancel at anytime and they will send card within 7days. We have paid the extra to get him a personalised card that says "go Jarred" not go henry, my theory was it will be more easy to locate if it gets stolen at school etc. (he is the only Jarred).
We did look at a bank account but they are going to take longer than the 2weeks we have until London so I needed a quick fix. Plus if my son gets silly with the above card I cancel it.
If anyone is interested in a go henry card and a free £5 when you activate it please click on the link below, it is classed as a friend referral. https://www.gohenry.co.uk/secure/?utm_campaign=refer_a_friend&utm_source=inviteLinkWA#ref_lnk_1445176129203962735_Ya

October 17th 2015 - paper book folding
I have spent today again trying to come up with easy crafts that are suitable for both boys and girls for my St John Cadets to do that are not the "normal" cut and stick kiddie crafts.
I have a pile of books upstairs that are going to the charity shop, so I decided to try and make a paper book folding christmas tree. Looks easy enough so I had a go.
The insctructions I found were in German so I had to hunt for some in English asn translation didn't make sense.
Anyway, take a book and remove the cover and take out about 60pages leaving the glue on the spine, the more pages you use the thicker the finished tree will be but it will take longer to do:
From here you need to start folding pages like you would to make a paper airplane! Make sure you have the spine to the left when you start as its easier. Take the top right corner and fold down to the spine and crease so its a sharp fold (I use and old store card):
Then you need to take the section and fold onto itself so that you get a thin point at the top and airplane shape, again crease so its a sharp fold:
You will notice that the bottom of the folded page sticks out below the bottom of the book, this also need folding. If you bend it down over the rest of the book you will get a fold mark, using this tuck the bottom bit upwards so that it is hidden under the 2nd fold:
Keep folding the rest of the pages in the above way (it is time consuming but worth it):
Then once you have folded all the pages you will need to staple the 1st and last pages together to make it as a cone shape and it will look like this:
It is now upto you if you decorate it or leave it plain. I am going to add a glitter paint to the folded part of each page that makes the tree and add some sparkly stars and a pom pom to the top.
please make sure if doing with children that the books are suitable incase they decide to read any of the pages! I had planned to use the books that I have upstairs for charity shop but as I made this 1 I realised they are NOT suitable and will still be going to charity shop, so I will be going to buy some more suitable ones (maybe from the kids/teens section).

October 16th 2015 - Christmas Candy Sleighs
I know it is only October and we haven't got as far as Halloween BUT I needed to sort out some craft activities for St John Ambulance including 1 week where they are in uniform which means no paint, glitter or glue or anything that would make a mess. Yea not the easiest of tasks in the world!
Then I remembered the Christmas Candy Sleighs I made for the boys teachers 2 Christmas's ago - they were very easy to make and used double sided tape.
These were the ones I made for the teachers. They look pretty good and the teachers liked them.
Que me going shopping for sweets and chocolate to make them. £19.81 later I have everything I need to make a new demo version and enough sweets for 19 children to make sleighs - that work out at £1 per child - when you put it that way you cant really complain especially as 4 bar kit kats are 79p each in my local shop. The sweets were from b&m, home bargains and poundland, all in multi-packs.
Take 1 huge pile of sweets:
And split them to what you need - 1 kit kat, 2 twix bars, 2 maoam blocks, 1 orange segment, 1 choc santa and 2 candy canes:
And you are almost ready to make the sleighs. You also need 2 pieces of christmas ribbon and either double sided tape or sticky glue dots.
Step 5. Take 1 of the candy canes, put a glue dot on the top near the straight end, a glue dot in the middle and a glue dot near the curve. Stick this to one side of the base of the kit kat. Do the same for the other candy cane. The curves need to be at the front near Santa.

Step 1. Take out your kit kat and 2 twix bars. Place the Kit kat right way up on the table. Take 1 of the twix bars and a glue dot to each end on the back, then push down onto the back of your kit kat. Do the same for 2nd twix and stick infront of the 1st one. You can add a sticky dot between the 2 twix bars to keep them together.
Step 2. Place kit kat on the table. Take 1 of your 2 maoam bars, add a glue dot to each end of it on the back and stick on top of the twix bars. Do this for the 2nd maoam as well. You can add a glue dot between the 2 so they stay together.
Step 3. Place your kit kat on the table. Take your orange segment and put a glue dot on each end on the base. Stick this at the back on top of the maoam blocks.
Step 4. Take your Santa and place a glue dot on the base and 1 on the back about half way up. Place Santa infront of the bars on the kit kat.
Step 5. Take 1 of the candy canes, put a glue dot on the top near the straight end, a glue dot in the middle and a glue dot near the curve. Stick this to one side of the base of the kit kat. Do the same for the other candy cane. The curves need to be at the front near Santa.
Step 6. Take 1 piece of the Christmas ribbon. Place a glue dot in the middle of the kit kat on the base and place the middle of the ribbon on it. Take the ends up and over the sweet “parcels” and fix with a glue dot on the top.
Step 7. Take the other piece of the Christmas ribbon, tie both ends of the ribbon together in a knot. Place a glue dot just infront of Santa and fix the knotted it to it (leave the knot to flap about like reins). Take the rest of the ribbon under the front of the sleigh, stick to the glue dot from 1st ribbon if possible and bring up the back of the sweet “parcels” and fix on the glue dot on the top.
You now have a sleigh with reins.
Some websites say to make these with hot glue or super glue - i dont reccommend this as the glue melts the plastic wrappers of the sweets and ends up touching the sweets making them un-eatable. Therefore it is safer (especially if being done with children) to use double sided tape of sticky glue dots.

October 15the 2015 - SALE
SALE the word all women love and all men hate as it costs them money!
This sale that I am referring to is in my local b&m store, they have some halloween bits reduced already, not sure if they are last years stock or what but I don't really care either! I picked up a set of red had print lights (will be used when I do my bathroom as a blood scene) they were reduced to £1. I picked up a fairly large purple glitter plumpkin again reduced to £1 (my friend is having this she just needs a tealight for it.) And a mini purple pumpkin that was 10p (again going to friend).
I am also keeping an eye out for cheap witches hats for next year, so again I will be hunting the sales for them.

October 14th 2015 - money matters
Today is wednesday, this means that as per earlier in the year I am back at school. This term the short course we are doing is called money matters. We will be looking at ways to save money, banks and building societies, budgeting, making gifts vs buying them, loans and credit unions, sales and offers and anything else that may be money related.
Hopefully it will be helpful and enjoyable like the previous courses have all been. The difference this time round is that the children will only be in for 1 session and not a short time every session, but that is for the reason the course is aimed at the parents and not how to help the children.

October 13th 2015 - Good days
For today's pin I am going to share a post about good days vs bad days linked to chronic pain. Today is a good day and I am not in that much pain and have been able to do things.
I appologise for the rude words in the post but it is very true, anyone that suffers from chronic pain will agree that this is how it is. The good days are few and far between and they dont very often last long.

October 12th 2015 - Frankenstein repair kit
Following on from previous Halloween posts and apothecary bottles I have spent today making a Frankenstein repair kit.
This has to be one of the easiest apothecary bottles you can make. You need the following items:
An empty spice bottle.
An assortment of screws, nails, bolts, pieces of wire, springs etc.
Combine them together and seal the lid to itself and then to the jar with a strong glue like UHU. Allow to dry. Then you can add a label that says:
And you have your finished frankenstein repair kit in a bottle ready to add to your apothecary shelf.

October 11th 2015 - Paperwork
Today's pin is off my secondary account that I use for St John Ambulance. It seemed very apt for today as I have spent most of the day doing Paperwork in one form or another for St John Ambulance.
I have printed documents, I have placed some in envelopes to be sent off to other people, I have made documents on word, I have edited and saved documents off the internet, I have sent and received emails and messages, I have made lists of things we need etc.
I am glad that I am finished with it for today.

October 10th 2015 - Christmas shoebox appeal
A few months back I picked up some fluffy socks and gloves in a sale and put them up ready for the Christmas Shoebox appeal. Today I have sat and worked out what else we are going to put into the boxes.
The boys at infant/junior school do 1 box each as their school takes part in it. As with previous years we try and do 1 boy and 1 girl (and then what ever the 3rd child wanted). I still need to buy quite a bit and need to find 2 boxes, but I still have plenty of time.
So my lists are as follows, those with line through I already have:

October 9th 2015 - syringe
I had thought about a syringe to go with my nurses outfit. I also thought about making them full of jelly, but that might scare the kids at the party. So I was going to buy a pen version except the only ones I could find were from china and wouldnt be here in time. This left me thinking...... and it came to me, I have 3 children who have calpol and such in the cupboard = syringe!
I started hunting and found more medicine spoons than the local chemist has, lots of the syringes that come with ibuprofen but not a single clear syringe. There had to be one somewhere in my house, so I kept looking. I found one in the draw with the pasta and rice, I can only assume it has fallen out of the cutlery drawer and in there. Well it was going to get a make over.
Take one syringe :
and some extreme repair glue*:
Remove the syringe plunger, fill the nozel end with the glue, making sure it is fully covered so that you get no leaks later on. Allow to dry.
Next mix some fake blood, pva glue and a drop of alcohol hand gel and combine well by shaking, you should have a nice bright red mixture, you may need to add a drop or 2 of red food colouring if it looks pinky because of the pva glue. Pour this mix into the syringe so its between 1/2-3/4 full. Wipe the inside of the top of the syringe with a tissue so that it is dry.
(YOU NEED ABOUT 5 HANDS NOW!) keeping the syringe the right way up so nothing spills out, you need to coat the rubber end of the plungers part with the extreme repair glue, make sure it is all covered as you don't want any leaks. Carefully push the plunger into the syringe so that the rubber end is just into the main body of the syringe. IF you push too hard you may dislodge the glue at the other end. Place more extreme repair glue around the whole end of the syringe so it is fully sealed. You may need to do a 2nd coat once dry to be sure there are no gaps.
You should now have something that looks like this:
I have added a keyring loop through the side of syringe and an ID fob clip so it can be attached to my outfit. Great prop at no cost as already had the stuff.
*extreme repair glue is brilliant as it is a flexible rubber type glue that it fully waterproof - it is used to repair tents and hiking shoes. can be bought in wilkinsons.

October 8th 2015 - My own Wheels!
The benefits people agreed to do us a loan so that we could get me a mobility scooter. Today we went over to the place that we hire 1 from in august as we had spoken the man a few weeks ago and he said once we had the money he would have a scooter or find me a suitable one as soon as he could.
The one we have bought is not the one I borrowed in august but one a simialr size, the difference is this 1 is a 2014 model and not a 2015 model, but this did mean the cost was much less.
It is blue and a gogo elite traveller model. I'm hoping that I dont have to use it very much but at least I now have one if we want to go out as a family for a day etc. It fits in the boot and we will be able to pack around it - yes it may mean we have to buy some smaller hold-alls rather than big suitcases but we can work round it.
At present it is sat in the middle of my kitchen whilst we work out where it is going to be kept.

October 7th 2015 - Pass the pumpkin game
October 7th 2015 - Pass the pumpkin game
Last Halloween I came up with the idea of the pass the pumpkin game based on the traditional pass the pass the parcel. However, instead of keeping going with unwrapping to get the prize each player it landed on took a sweet from the pumpkin, once everyone had had 2 sweets (we only had small numbers playing) the next time the music stopped that person took home the pumpkin and all the rest of the sweets in it.
In the sale after halloween last year I picked up a plastic pumpkin (trick or treat bag) that we could use for this years party. Today I have sat and filled it up with sweets of various types - body parts, lollipops and sherbet straws. It is now ready to take with us to my friends house.
The kids loved playing it last year as they all got sweets. And it also made up for the fact that they didn't all go trick or treating before the party.
I have also done this as a train.

October 6th 215 - Blood splatter nails
October 6th 2015 - Blood splater nails
To go along with my nurses outfit for halloween I wanted to have blood splatter nails as I think they will look good. I looked on ebay and the false ones are all really long and as I don't do nails and girly very often they will drive me mad. I then looked at the sticker options and again say look better on long nails (mine are fairly short).
This left me the option of nail varnish. I looked at various tutorials and they all said about using a straw and blowing it - well I tried that option and managed to get it on paper not my nails! So I tried to just tap the brush over my nails without touching them - it worked but its not easy to do on yourself.
However my hubby had a go for me and it's worked out ok. So on Halloween (or the day before) the hubby will become my own nail technichian once I have done the base and white coats. I think I my use 2 different reds so it gives a look of some fresh and some not.
Here is the result of the trial run today:

October 5th 2015 - tshirt 2 pillow
October 5th 2015 - tshirt 2 pillow
Last year myself and a friend in USA did a christmas gift swap based on Elves. It was great. We decided that we would do it again for this year. Just after christmas last year I picked up a baby tshirt that said "I Elves they have magical powers". My friend doesn't have a baby so this may seem like a strange thing to buy for her. However, I had plans for the tshirt. And that plan was to turn the tshirt into a pillow.
I started off by cutting the long sleeves to just below the arm holes (as you don't need long sleeeves or extra pieces of material as they will just get in the way.) I then stitched up the arm holes and along the base of the tshirt:
I then started to stuff the tshirt via the head hole and pushed it down into the tshirt. The stuffing is from a quilt I bought for this type of craft. Its cheaper to buy new quilts and rip the stuffing out of than it is to buy bags of toy stuffing which is exactly the same thing! Once it was fully stuffed I stitched up the head hole.
And have a finished pillow.
I forgot to take pics as I was working hence why its all a stuffed pillow. I think it's nice and i'm sure my friend will as she is Elf mad!

October 4th 2015 - toilet roll mummy
Lil man was wanting to do some crafts today, so as its near Halloween we decided that we would do Halloween crafts.
We have made some toilet roll mummies from a bandage and googly eyes. It has kept little man amused for while.

October 3rd 2015 - pot o gold
October 3rd 2015 - Pot o gold
Today I have finally finished the leprechauns house for the fairy garden and started to varnish it. Tomorrow I will varnish the bottom and then it is ready to go outside. Lil man asked if I could make him a pot of gold to go with it. This pin gave me the idea.
Instead of using a bottle I used a small plastic medicine tub:
I took off the lid and cut the tub abit shorter with a sharp knife. From here I coated the inside in a grey nail varnish and left to dry. I then coated the outside in a dark blue and silver nail varnish and left to dry.
I filled the inside of the tub 3/4 of the way up with clear silicone and then started to place gold pirate coins into it, I also put more silicone around the coins so it should be waterproof. I did place a few more coins than are in the photo.
It is now sitting drying ready to go outside tomorrow with the house and leprechauns.

October 2nd 2015 - Nail varnish uses
Ocotber 2nd 2015 - Nail varnish uses
Nail varnish is a wonderful thing and has many uses. I would guess that 95% of what I use it for is not what it was made for! LOL! It is especially great as the £1 shops sell it in loads of colours. I have loads of bottles scattered about and they get used for various things.
1. putting on your finger and toe nails - this is very obvious because of what it is called. I only ever use nail varnish if I am going to a wedding, christening or party.
2. To cover a hole in tights - clear nail varnish works on all colours of tights. If you have a small snag or tiny hole cover it with nail varnish and it will stop it spreading or getting bigger.
3. High heel touch up - if you get a scrape down the back of your heels, find a nail varnish of the same colour and touch up your shoes.
4. Solar lights - place clear nail varnish over the solar panel of the lights and it helps keep them working for longer.
5. as a varnish - I have used nail varnish as a varnish or rocks/stones, glass, wood and plastic.
6.paint - yes I have used nail varnish as a paint, not to make a full picture but to do small lines and dots and decorations, mainly when I have made rock houses and halloween potion bottles to cover the bottles and lids.
7. On the Paddling pool - it wasn't a permanant fix but it held the small hole for 24hrs until we were able to get puncture repair kit.
8. labels - place clear nail varnish over hand written labels and they do not smudge. I have used various colours when making my halloween potion bottles.
9.on children - hand write your phone number when on a day out and cover with clear nail varnish, it stops the number coming off.
10. colour glass bottles - pour small amounts of nail varnish of 2 or 3 different colours into a clear glass bottle and gently move the bottle so that the colours mix slightly and cover the sides. leave the lid of so that it can dry and coat the bottle. this is ok as long as you dont put anything in it.
11. Sealing envelopes - over licked an envelope and dont have another or tape - small amount of clear nail varnish works.
12. colour coding - this works on plugs and keys (and probably many other things!) mark the top of the plug or the key (and maybe the lock) so that you know what it is for.
13. costume jewellery - cheap jewellery that leaves green marks on your skin - coat the inside of it with clear nail varnish it stops it happening.
14. Screws and nails - my Hubby laughed at me when I said about putting nail varnish into the hole that the screw was loose in on the stair banister - he didn't laugh after it held it tightly.
15. glue - my son has used nail varnish when making pictures and needed a glue to hold sequins and things to his paper.
16. maker - it works to make lines and marks for measurement, obviously this wont give ou number measures but works for "how much lawn feed you need" in a bottle to top up with water.
17.touch up furniture - this works best of it is browns like pine as you can get 2 or 3 shades of brown and cover where it has been scratched and damaged.
18. paint soles of shoes - if you want your plain heels updated simple paint the sole a bright colour.
19. touch up wallpaper - if you get a tiny rip in wallpaper (or child drawn on it) cover with nail varnish.
20. touch up cars - you usually need a metallic nail varnish in similar shade but works to cover small scratches.
21. crack or chip in a window - this is NOT a long term fix but works enough to get home or to garage safely if in car or until the window fitter can get out, it will stop the crack or chip from spreading.
22. tile filler - have ceramic tiles and have a chip fill the chip with a similar colour or clear nail varnish.
23. touch up ornaments - again if you have a chip or have had to fix something back on nail varnish can cover up the crack or flaking paint.
24. for crafts - this is where the 101 uses can come in as can be used for anything and everything craft related.
25. glitter everything - glitter nail varnish can add a new lease of life to everything!
26. marble effect - mix a few colours in a tub of water and add your item to it for marble effect - flower pots look good especially if given as a gift with a plant, plus its waterproof!
27. hair clips/grips/pins - it can add pretty colours and patterns to them but can also stop them catching in your hair as it smooths out sharp bits
i'm sure there are many other uses as well, but this is where my list ends. I have to say that my best use of it is for crafts and the halloween potion bottles i have been making.

Ocotber 1st 2015 - THINK PINK
October 1st 2015 - THINK PINK
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I am a big supporter of Breast Cancer as my Mum died from this horrible disease. She had battled with it for 22years when it finally killed her.
Although I don't donate on a monthly basis I do shop in the Cancer charity shops, I buy the Breast Cancer pin badges and if I have spare change I will put in the Cancer collection boxes. I have done the race for life a few times for Breast Cancer as well.
The best I could do today for it was to wear my pink fluffy socks (I don't really do pink as i'm not a girly girl!)

September 30th 2015 - Spell book
September 30th 2015 - Spell book
Going back to the beginning of the year I started to make a Spell book from some of the spells on this board. It has taken ages to get sorted as I have typed up all the spells I want to use, had to make sure they were all the same colour and fonts and all had the page logo on. I bought cream paper to print them on and hhad to wait until I had ink to actually dothem.
I spent a long time today printing the pages, some duplicated, some printed in a pinky colour not brown so I had to re-do them. I am happy to say that my spells are now printed for the book. I just need to glue the pages to the book that I made.
This is just 1 page before it was printed on cream paper but it gives you an idea of what I have done.
